Vollen Marina is the controller of personal data processed through vollen-marina.no. The managing director is Finn Audun Bostad.

When you ask us to contact you

When you send an enquiry, we use your name, telephone number or email address and your message to reply. For berth enquiries, we also process the boat details you provide. We use this information to follow up your requirements, arrange a viewing or provide information about availability, prices and terms.

Enquiries about an agreement with you are processed to take steps you request before a possible agreement, under Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR. Other questions and contact on behalf of a business are processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries, under Article 6(1)(f).

Contacting us is voluntary. We need sufficient contact details to reply. Submitting a form is not consent to analytics, advertising measurement or newsletters, and you can submit the forms even if you have rejected such tracking.

Who receives the information

Enquiries are handled by those following them up for Vollen Marina. We use these providers in the form process:

  • NettSkred assists with operation and receipt of enquiries. Campaign form enquiries are sent to irma@nettskred.no for follow-up on behalf of Vollen Marina.
  • Resend delivers form emails and processes message content and delivery information.
  • Cloudflare serves the website and handles the technical processing of form submissions.

How long information is kept

Enquiries are kept while we respond to and follow up the particular request. Once follow-up has ended, information that is no longer necessary must be deleted. The duration depends on whether the dialogue is still active, whether it leads to an agreement and whether documentation must be retained.

Information needed for an agreement, legally required retention or the establishment, exercise or defence of a legal claim is kept for as long as that specific need remains. This does not justify keeping all enquiries indefinitely.

Deletion must cover relevant email copies held by Vollen Marina and NettSkred. You can contact us to find out what we have kept about your enquiry and request deletion.

Technical operation

When the website is used, the hosting provider processes technical information such as IP address, time, requested page and browser information to deliver the site, handle errors and maintain security.

The basis is our legitimate interest in a functioning and secure website, under Article 6(1)(f). Access to enquiries and operational information must be limited to people who need it for their work.

Cookies and consent choices

You choose analytics and marketing separately in the consent settings. The purposes are to understand use of the website and measure advertising effectiveness. Google Analytics and Google Ads fall under these purposes when the tools are enabled. Such processing is based on consent, under Article 6(1)(a).

Your consent choice is stored in the necessary nsk_consent cookie for up to 180 days from when the choice is saved. It contains purpose choices, a version and a timestamp, not your name or form content. It is used to remember and apply your choice.

You can reject, customise or accept, and later change or withdraw consent through “Your settings” at the bottom of the page. Withdrawal applies to future processing and does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

Names, telephone numbers, email addresses and free text from the two campaign forms are not included in the website’s conversion events. These use a form identifier, page path and technical receipt ID.

Providers and processing outside the EEA

Resend states that its primary processing takes place in the United States. Cloudflare and Google also use international infrastructure. Their terms describe processing, subprocessors and transfer mechanisms, including the EU Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable.

Your rights

Depending on the processing and the conditions in the applicable rules, you can:

  • Request access to the information we process about you.
  • Request correction or deletion and, in some circumstances, restriction of processing.
  • Object to processing based on legitimate interests.
  • Request a copy of information in a machine-readable format where the right to data portability applies.
  • Withdraw consent and complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority.

Send questions or requests to exercise your rights to info@vollen-marina.no. We normally reply within one month. If an extension is necessary, you will be informed and given a reason.

External services and changes

When you follow links to services such as Havneweb, Ruter or OpenStreetMap, the privacy information of that service also applies. Embedded content on other pages may cause your browser to contact the content provider when it loads. The campaign pages embed maps from OpenStreetMap. When a map loads, OpenStreetMap receives the IP address and technical browser information needed to display it. See the OpenStreetMap Foundation privacy policy.

This notice is updated when processing changes. Significant changes to purposes requiring consent must be presented before the new processing starts.
